Pastor Norris has ministered at Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy for the past 20 years. Pastor Norris received his Bachelor's of Arts in Religious Education from William Carter College. He received a Master's of Theology, Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology. Pastor Norris is presently enrolled at Beacon University in the Dr. of Ministry program in Columbus, GA.
Pastor Norris is very active and involved in the community. He currently serves as Assistant Chaplin for the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. He also serves as North Carolina State Highway Patrol Chaplain Troop H, District II (Richmond and Scotland Counties). He is also an active committee member for the National Day of Prayer in Richmond County.
Pastor Norris also serves as Youth Camp Coordinator for the Church of God of Prophecy in North Carolina. He currently serves as a board member of the Church of God of Prophecy State Advisory Board. Pastor Norris has been married to Wanda for 32 years. She is actively involved in our Relay for Life in Richmond County. She coordinates the event for our church and raising the money for our church. They have one son Marcus age 26.
