Pastor Norris has ministered at Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy for the past 23 years. Pastor Norris received his Bachelor's of Arts in Religious Education from William Carter College. He received a Master's of Theology, Master's of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology and is presently working on second Doctoral Degree from Beacon University in Columbus, Georgia.
Pastor Norris is very active and involved in the community. He serves as Assistant Chaplain for the Richmond County Sheriff's Department and as North Carolina State Highway Patrol Chaplain Troop H, District II (Richmond and Scotland Counties). He is also an active committee member for the National Day of Prayer in Richmond County.
Pastor Norris is the Youth Camp Coordinator for the Church of God of Prophecy in North Carolina and he also serves as a board member of the Church of God of Prophecy State Advisory Board.
Pastor Norris has been married to Wanda for 34 years. She is actively involved in Relay for Life in Richmond County. Serving as our church coordinator she is responsible for organizing our church team. Wanda also serves as the Church Worship Leader.
They have one son Marcus age 28.
